At the AIX, suppliers are jointly presenting their products at the Hanse Pavilion

The full range of cabin expertise over 1500 square metres - this (or something similar) is how one could summarise what the Hanse Pavilion is offering at the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX). From 5 to 7 April 2016, more than 80 companies will be exhibiting here under the umbrella of Hanse-Aerospace e.V. This means that the Hanse Pavilion is again the biggest stand at this, the world's largest trade fair for airplane interior equipment.

Overall, more than 530 exhibitors, almost 10,000 trade visitors and 1,000 purchasers from airlines are expected for this annual event at the Hamburg exhibition halls. The AIX is an excellent place for introducing innovations to the market so numerous new products are again being presented this year over the three days. They range from small but delicate components to complex systems. New production processes represent one key issue. In the forefront are 3D printing and the new structures and layouts which it makes possible, as well as novel light materials and design trends for the cabin.

Hamburg institutions such as the Hamburg Aviation and the ZAL, the Center of Applied Aeronautical Research, which was officially opened a few weeks ago, are also exhibiting at the Hanse Pavilion.
